Marijuana is still predominant in Sudbury. But recently, there have been other types of drug which have invaded the market. So this makes for several drugs present in Sudbury. Those include the following:

First off, marijuana is a big issue. There are many people who are addicted to marijuana and some aren’t even aware of it. For example, there was a 56,000 dollar bust which involved a cannabis lab.

There is also a lot of trafficking going on with prescription drugs. There have been a lot of pharmacy robberies in Sudbury. We all know that people who are addicted will do very drastic things to get the drugs, but most of the robberies had to do with trafficking, as it is a very lucrative market.

Ecstasy is mostly seen in the rave community in Sudbury. It is a drug used for partying but to which people can easily become addicted psychologically and physically.

Drug Treatments in Sudbury, Ontario

There are different kinds of establishments which can offer some type of help for the drug addicts in Sudbury. There are the people who first see the people in order to assess the extent of their addiction and so plan a treatment that will fit their needs. Then one can either choose to get a treatment in a specialised facility where the addict will stay throughout the duration of the treatment. Or the addict could choose to simply follow an outpatient program. There is also another option, going through a withdrawal management program to get through the withdrawal symptoms.
