Mescaline detox in Ontario
Mescaline or Peyote has a long history of usage in ceremonies and non secular meditation circles of the North American Indians, by Mexico’s indigenous individuals, and elsewhere. When used as an intoxicant, a high usage of this could result in drug induced psychosis. The substance isn't physically addictive, and it is rare to seek out a habitual abuser}. Reasons for this could be 3-fold - a habitual abuser} would possible land before too much time passed in a psychiatric ward underneath serious sedation, and the opposite reason} is that mescaline isn't a fashionable drug in north America and cannot easily be found. The third explanation} is that most users of this substance don't strive it twice, the effects being startling and anxiety-ridden, along with the nausea and greatly bitter taste that upsets the stomach.
However, should you or an individual you know end up in the unfortunate position of needing to safely withdraw from having ingested too much peyote, where the psychosis becomes so extreme as to get rid of the user} from reality and so at risk through accidental or self inflicted injury, you have got no alternative choice than to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital, where you may be heavily sedated, or relying on the severity of the psychotic behavior, being locked up overnight in a jail cell till the consequences wear off (concerning six - twelve hours or additional, depending on the dosage)
Once the hallucinatory effects have passed, some nausea might still be present, and possibly a headache, and if the substance was smoked, lung irritation may linger as well. There are no specialized detox protocols for mescaline/peyote come off except what was mentioned above. The criteria for deciding to travel into a withdraw scenario as described above would be primarily “safety” of the user, and people around the abuser.
